Backspin will be playing a gig coming weekend at the ’Slokdarm Festival’. It’ll be on the CHV Stage at 15.45. Be there!!!!!
24-06-2010; JC De Kuip
Due to circumstances Backspin hasn’t been able to play at the contest at JC de Kuip. We want to wish the rest of the bands all the luck to get to that spot in the finally.
29-05-2010; Kroak Festival
Backspin will play the half finale at JC De Kuip in Loon op Zand. This way we can win a place at the Kraok Festival.

Great gig at a great place. We had lots of fun playing there and would sure like to come back at any time.
14-05-2010; Battle of the band
Yeeeehaaa, we won, we won. Lot of times we were very close at winning a contest like Battle of the Band in Franks cafe. But this time we really did it. We won a very nice sum of cash, a great looking trophy and submission to the finale of the Kempener Pop prijs.

Band competition Dynamo in Eindhoven, first gig with JW Dynamo Rocks.
Great organization and very cool bands. Unfortunately for Backspin a 7,9 grade
wasn’t enough to go to the next round.
13-03-2010; First Gig
First Gig with JW at Dynamo in Eindhoven. Tonight will be the first gig of Backspin
with it’s new lead singer Jan Willem! You all come check it out en listen in the cafe
with the legendary name “Dynamo“. Soon you will find more info about JW on the website.
06-03-2010; Transformers! Like backspin also the website is transforming to better, tighter and more creative ensemble.
For those who remember the old website will notice that the current website is a lot faster.
It is still in the improvement stage. So if you have suggestions or remarks than please

24-02-2010; And then there were three........ IT has been a long while since we updated the website. So here is one major development.
Unfortunately our lead singer Jerry decided to leave the band. He wants to explore other options
and possibilities to bring his own Music to the people. So you could say that there were some creative differences.
But with every change there are new challenges so keep checking the site for updates.
We are intensively working with new singers. We will stick to our program and no gigs are cancelled.
19-12-2009; Franks Cafe The gig at Franks Cafe wasn’t only big fun but also we managed to go to the final on “Hemelsvaartdag”.
23-11-2009; Agenda The Agenda is adjusted again. We have some nice gigs behind us and still some nice ones to go.
12-10-2009; Promo-CD The new Rock compilation CD from Evert van Nieuwestede from Its Your Record was released On 1st October
which contains two songs of Backspin. This CD will be plugged at several well known radio stations in
the Netherlands (See Discography). Who knows, maybe you will hear us soon at Giel on 3fM or on KinkFM.
12-10-2009; De Mach We are going to rock The Mach on 30st october. This as a result of the 2nd price we’ve got
with the “grote prijs van RVP”. We are looking forward to it!!!!
12-10-2009; 013 Yesterday we had a really cool gig at 013 in Tilburg. The ambience was very good and the sound was great.
